Join us for an exciting outdoor musical performance by the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra.  This annual performance has become a grand tradition in Blowing Rock. 

This year, the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra will celebrate Americana featuring patriotic favorites, a salute to the Big Apple and features from Disney Classics.  Lead by Maestro Albert Moehring, a native of Amsterdam, the Philharmonic is a professional seventy piece orchestra.  Maestro Moehring trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.  He has worked and studied with renowned conductors such as Walter Susskind, Leonard Bernstein and Leonard Slatkin.

Chetola Resort will once again be serving the Symphony Picnic Buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold items including hot sandwich plates, hamburgers, veggie burgers, grilled chicken, salads and more. The Symphony Prix Fixe Dinner on the Patio overlooking Chetola Lake and the Symphony is a complete dining experience offering four courses.  A sampling of entrée selections include Grilled Beef Filet Oscar, North Carolina Trout and American Gold Salmon. This dinner option includes your tickets to the Symphony and prime seating for the entire concert and fireworks display. This dinner sells out quickly so make your reservations as soon as possible to secure prime seating. The complete menus for the Picnic Buffet and the Symphony Prix Fixe Dinner are listed below. 

A spectacular fireworks display will conclude the evening.  Tickets are available at Chetola's front desk or at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce.
